Færre ressourcer i kommende nationalt HPC-kald

Posten som bestyrelsesforperson for DeiC er aktuelt ubesat, og det medfører forsinkelser i beslutningsprocesser og påvirker kommende HPC kald.

John Renner Hansen, er fratrådt som forperson for DeiCs bestyrelse.  Dette medfører bl.a., at DeiCs bestyrelse for nuværende ikke kan ikke kan tage beslutninger af økonomisk karakter, hvilket påvirker en række igangværende og kommende HPC-aktiviteter.

Det forventes, at Danske Universiteters Rektorkollegium udpeger en ny forperson i begyndelsen af august 2025.

Færre ressourcer i kommende HPC-kald

Næste kald for national HPC-regnetid åbner den 15. juli 2025 og dækker regnetidsperioden 1. januar til 31. december 2026. 

DeiCs kontrakter med DeiC Interactive HPC udløber 31. december 2025, og arbejdet med nye aftaler er i gang. Men da bestyrelsen for nuværende ikke er beslutningsdygtig, kan det ikke garanteres, at de nye aftaler er på plads, inden kaldet åbner.

Derfor vil det kommende kald som udgangspunkt udelukkende omfatte national regnetid på LUMI.

The first national call for HPC resources H2-2024 is now open.

As a researcher at a Danish university, you have various options for gaining access to computing power at both Danish and international HPC facilities.

Deadline for application is 12. March. For more information, visit DeiCs website.

H2-2023 Call for national HPC resources is now open

With this call DeiC invites applications from scientific staff and students at the eight Danish universities for allocation of compute resources on the national HPC facilities. The call is open to all scientific areas. Call H2-2023 is the second call for application on compute resources on the national e-resources. The second call is an open call with no specific purpose.

The call is for all HPC facilities. For information about other facilities than DeiC Interactive HPC, please visit DeiC. Resources available specifically for Interactive HPC:

Time Schedule for application and grant

H2-2023 is the second call for national compute resources. The time schedule is as follow:
